Nathan John Feuerstein (born March 30 1991) and known by his initials NF (stylized as IF), is an American singer, rapper, songwriter and record producer. Two EPs have been released: I'm Free (2012) [3and self-titled EP released from Capitol CMG in 2014. Mansion was his debut major label album, came out in March 2015. His second studio album Therapy Session came out on April 22nd, 2016. It ranked 12 on the US Billboard 200. His albums have earned many accolades, including: the Gospel Music Association Dove Award Rap/Hip Hop album of the year (Therapy Session). NF reached mainstream popularity with Perception in 2017. The album charted in the United States at number one and was certified Platinum. "Let You Fall" hit number twelve on the. Billboard Hot 100 topped the charts across the globe and was a top ten hit. The Search (2019) was his second album. The album also enjoyed the same commercial success. Feuerstein stated that, during his childhood, rap was an escape for him. Feuerstein recorded his songs using the Karaoke Machine, recording his instrumentals on one mic while rapping on in the other. Feuerstein released his own debut studio album Moments on November 29, 2010, under his real name. His first single, "Alone", came out on August 2, 2011. Brooke Griffith and Tommee Profitt were the track's writers and producers. In 2012, the work of Feuerstein attracted the attention of Xist Music. On May 2, 2012 Feuerstein released his debut extended play I'm Free with production by Profitt. The tracklist contained nine songs, including "Alone". The EP also featured an exclusive version "Alone" featuring Sean Simmonds. Xist had been teased about the self-titled, extended play NF. However, Feuerstein ended his relationship with the label, and the production of NF is now delayed. But, NF featured a song, "Only One", featuring Shuree Williams, on the label's compilation album, Move Vol 1. On November 4 in 2013, he debuted the single "Beautiful Addiction". Profitt also made an appearance on the song. The song featured vocals from Danielle Swift and Brady Schmitz.
