Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been an actor, director, producer, playwright as well as an educator at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was the child of a Briton, and a Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. As a child, she appeared in several commercials. Anna relocated to Toronto in November of 1999, to pursue her acting talents. Then, she settled in Los Angeles (California) over the next decade. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting training workshop held in 2007. The two were engaged by 2009. Anna had recently converted to Judaism and married Seth Cooperman in Fredericton. Bo's similar-sex romance to Lauren (played by Zoie Palmer) was noted on CNN's list of the top most viewed Television Couples and named the Top Television Couple of the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. The success of the show has led to Anna building a large audience on social networks.
