Emily Bett Rickards is a Canadian born actress. She is most well-known in the US for her character Felicity Smoak, portrayed by The CW series Arrow. Rickards was raised in British Columbia. She started her career in acting from a young age, taking classes in dance, musical theatre and various forms of entertainment. She completed her Acting Essentials Programme through the Vancouver Film School after graduating from high school. The open call following, an agent was found for her. She studied at the Alida Vocal Studio in Vancouver.
