Her work was with The Keith Olbermann Evening News as the feature reporter. Flanagan worked from 2000 until 2006 in the newsroom of ESPN. She spent five years reporting from college football's on the sidelines of ESPN. She reported from the college sidelines for five years and covered the College World Series Women's Tennis Association's Championships for Men's College Basketball as well as the NCAA Women's Tournament. Flanagan was a reporter at SportsCenter which she covered regularly on Lakers Dodgers Angels UCLA USC Chargers. She also reported on spring training, the NBA Playoffs College Football Bowl Games the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, and also a segment each week on the NFL Monday Night Countdown.
